BOX SCORE BEMIDJI, MINN. – Augustana got back to an even record in conference with a commanding sweep over Bemidji State Friday night.
Jordan Spatenka led the offense with 16 kills on the way to a 25-18, 25-17, 25-16 victory.

Katie Niesen took over starting duties running the offense and she dished out 25 assists in two sets of work.
Augustana increased their first set lead steadily as they went on to win the first set 25-18. The Vikings led by seven but the Beavers fought back closing the gap to four at 22-18 but
Holly Hafemeyer and Courthey YSker nailed a trio of kills to close out the set.
The Vikings created space early in the second set, but Bemidji State caught up to tie at 14-14. A Viking timeout was all they needed to regroup as Augustana closed on an 11-3 run to win set two 25-17.

Bemidji State made another comeback, tying the set at 13 all, but the beavers could never take the lead and the Vikings closed out the third set 25-16 for the sweep.
Marissa Johnson came in to spell Niesen and registered the match-clinching ace.
Spatenka hit .536, a season high and limited to herself with one attack error.
Courtney Ysker sparked many of the offensive runs when she took to the service line. Ysker tallied three service aces and 10 kills, hitting double-digit kills for the second match in a row.
Kayla Wallerich tried to not let any attacks hit the floor, notching 15 digs in the quick three-set match.
In her limited action, Johnson assisted on 13 kills in the third set. Hafemeyer finished the match with nine kills and two service aces.
The Vikings stay on the road, taking on Minnesota Crookston at 5 p.m. Saturday.
