SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -
No. 8 Augustana embarks on a weekend road trip looking to avenge their only losses of the 2012-13 season. The Vikings are 14-2 overall and 10-2 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.  Friday, Jan. 25, the Vikings play Concordia-St. Paul (11-5, 9-3 NSIC) at 6 p.m. hoping to defeat the confident Golden Bears.  The following evening, Augustana will play Minnesota State (12-4, 8-4 NSIC) at 4 p.m. hoping to defeat the team that spoiled their perfect start to the season.

The Vikings are in sole possession of first place in the NSIC standings but are tasked with playing the second and third place teams this weekend.  The Golden Bears have won eight of their past nine games, including three straight over ranked opponents.  Minnesota State is 3-3 after upsetting the Vikings.  Both Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota State are receiving votes in this week's USA Today Sports Coaches' Poll.

Augustana hopes to expand on their five-game winning streak in which they are averaging 84.6 points and defeating its opponents by an average of 29.4 points per game.  Alex Feeney has led the charge with four straight double-doubles including three consecutive games with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds The Vikings hope to return to Sioux Falls with a larger lead in the NSIC standings.
