SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - 18th-ranked Augustana returns home after two road losses with hopes of earning back the top spot in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference standings. The Vikings (14-4, 10-4 NSIC) welcome Minnesota Duluth (10-8, 7-7 NSIC) and St. Cloud State (14-4, 10-4 NSIC) to the Elmen Center this weekend.
Augustana's two losses dropped them into a four-way tie for second place in the NSIC standings. Looking to bounce back, the Vikings face Minnesota Duluth on Feb. 1 at 6 p.m. and
Alex Feeney looks to extend her streak of consecutive games with double-digit rebounds to seven against the Bulldogs.
The following evening, the Vikings can create separation from St. Cloud State who is tied with Augustana for second place in the NSIC. The Vikings and Huskies begin play at 4 p.m. on Feb. 2 at the Elmen Center. Both Augustana and SCSU average over 70 points so there may be fireworks come Saturday.
