SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Augustana embarks on their first weekend road trip of the season when they face two Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference North Division opponents. The Vikings (11-2, 3-2 NSIC) face Northern State (10-2, 3-2 NSIC) on Friday at 7 p.m. in Aberdeen, S.D. before heading to Moorhead, Minn. to face Minnesota State Moorhead (10-3, 3-2 NSIC) on Saturday at 4 p.m.
For the second time this season, the Vikings appeared in the "receiving votes" section of the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll. Augustana collected 20 points from five ballots including an 18th-place spot on one ballot.
The Vikings have fared well against both of their opponents, posting a 17-6-2 mark against Northern State and a 15-6 record against MSU Moorhead. On the road, the Vikings are a combined 10-2 against the Wolves and Dragons.
