SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Augustana hits the road again, heading North with hopes of solidifying their Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference standing. The Vikings (17-5, 9-5 NSIC) square off against Bemidji State (5-17, 1-13) on Friday at 7 p.m. before tripping to face Minnesota Crookston (12-10, 7-7 NSIC) on Saturday at 3 p.m.
Augustana has experienced much success against their two weekend opponents, positing a combined 27-3 record which includes an 11-0 against Minnesota Crookston. The Vikings also look to move up in the NSIC standings in which they sit at fifth with a 9-5 mark, two games back of Northern State.
The Vikings remained in the "receiving votes" section of the AVCA coaches' poll after grabbing 20 points, the 29th most in Division II. The NSIC has five teams ranked in the top 25 including three in the top eight.
