SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Head coach
Dave Krauth and the 14th-ranked Augustana women's basketball team open up the season on Saturday, Nov. 16 against Jamestown College (6-1) at 6 p.m. in the Elmen Center.
The Vikings have gone 20-4 in season openers with coach Krauth at the helm. Augustana was selected fourth in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll, as well as fourth in the South Division.
Senior
Emily Schulte was selected as a NSIC preseason player to watch for the upcoming 2013-14 year. Schulte averaged a career-high 10.1 points, 3.6 assists, and 3.4 assists last season for the Vikings.
Augustana is coming off a 28-7 record in 2012-13. The 28 wins were a school record and resulted in NSIC Tournament championship, along a trip to the Final Four for the Vikings.
