SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - 23rd-ranked Augustana (17-5, 13-5 NSIC) will make its final road trip of the regular season this weekend. The Vikings will play cross-town rival Sioux Falls on Friday night at 6 p.m. and then finish their Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference road games with a trip to Southwest Minnesota State on Saturday at 5 p.m.
The Vikings hope to take down USF (11-11, 8-10 NSIC) for the second time this season and earn another half point towards the Mayor's Cup. Augustana defeated the Cougars 92-64 on Dec. 8 to avenge last season's opening day loss.
The following evening, Augustana will face SMSU and look to improve upon their location in the NSIC standings. The Vikings beat the Mustangs on Dec. 7 by a 79-44 margin. Augustana has a 15-8 overall record against SMSU, but looks to increase their 4-3 lead on the road.
