SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana (19-7), the No. 3 seed in the South Division, will begin postseason play on Wednesday night hosting Minnesota Duluth (8-18), the No. 6 seed in the North Division, in the first round of the NSIC/Sanford Health Men's Basketball Tournament. Tip-off for the first round game at the Elmen Center is set for 8 p.m.
Augustana finished the season 15-7 in conference play, including 9-5 in the South Division, which was good for a third-place finish in the overall and divisional standings. Minnesota Duluth ended the season 6-16 overall, which was good for 14th in the overall standings and 6-8 in the North Division for a sixth-place finish in the divisional standings.
The winner of Wednesday night's game will either play the North Division's No. 2 seed Northern State or the South Division's No. 7 seed University of Sioux Falls.
