SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - No. 23 Augustana (20-6) earned the No. 3 seed in the South Division and will host North Division No. 6 seed Minot State in the first round of the NSIC/Sanford Health Women's Basketball tournament to begin postseason play. The first-round game will commence at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27.
The Vikings finished with a record of 16-6 in NSIC competition with a 9-5 mark in South Division games which placed them in third place for both the overall and South Division standings. Minot State ended conference play with a 9-13 record, 11th in the NSIC, sixth in the North Division.
The winner of Wednesday night's game will face the winner of North Division No. 2 seed University of Mary and South Division No. 7 seed Upper Iowa.
