SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – No. 25 Augustana (21-7) is set to take on No. 7 Minnesota State (24-4) in the semifinals of the NSIC/Sanford Health Men's Basketball Tournament in Rochester, Minn. on Friday. Opening tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m. at Taylor Arena in the May Civic Center on Friday night.
Augustana, the No. 3 seed in the South Division, advanced to the semifinals with an 85-61 win over the North Division's No. 2 seed Northern State on Saturday while Minnesota State, the South's No. 1 seed defeated the North's No. 4 seed MSU Moorhead 87-3. The winner of Friday night's game will advance to the NSIC Tournament Championship game and will take on the winner of the Upper Iowa/Bemidji State game.
