SIOUX FALLS, S.D - Augustana (28-9, 15-5 NSIC) closes out its regular season with a three home doubleheaders. The Vikings face Upper Iowa (23-13, 10-6 NSIC) at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 25 and finish with week with a pair of noon doubleheaders against U-Mary (19-16, 8-10 NSIC) on Saturday and Minot State (31-6, 13-5 NSIC) on Sunday.
The Vikings are in fourth place in the NSIC standings, a half game back from third-place Minnesota State. Minot State is hot on Augustana's tail in fifth place. This is the final weekend of action before the NSIC Tournament which will take place on May 2-4 in Rochester, Minn.
Winning 13 of their last 14 games, the Vikings jumped up one more spot in the NCAA Central Region rankings. The Vikings are no fifth and are joined by three more NSIC teams. The Vikings play Minot State, who is ranked No. 7, to close out the regular season.
