SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Augustana begins the 2013 volleyball season with a trip to the Great Northwest to play in the SpringHill Suites Invitational in Anchorage, Alaska. The Vikings are scheduled for four matches -- two each on Friday and Saturday -- with four different teams.
The Vikings are pitted against Claflin (S.C) for their season opener at 12 p.m. (CST) on Friday and follow that with a match against Texas A&M-Kingsville at 5 p.m. Augustana then closes out the tournament with matches against American International at 6 p.m. and host Alaska-Anchorage at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The Vikings return home to host the inaugural NSIC Challenge the following weekend.
