Vikings hit the road to take on Wayne State

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana College football team (3-3, 0-2 NSIC South) will hit the road this weekend looking to snap a two-game losing skid when it takes on Wayne State College (4-2, 2-0 NSIC South). The Vikings will also be looking to snap a four-game losing streak to the Wildcats when the two teams kick-off from Bob Cunningham Field at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18.

Augustana is coming off a 23-12 home loss to Sioux Falls while the Wildcats picked up a 54-14 road victory over Concordia-St. Paul last Saturday. Augustana and Wayne State have played tightly contested games in the past three seasons with the Wildcats winning all three by a combined nine points.

Following Saturday's game, Augustana will stay at home for two straight weeks as the Vikings play host to Minnesota State on Oct. 25 and Winona State on Nov. 1.
