This Week
• The No. 19 Vikings (12-4) (5-3 NSIC) will hit the road to continue Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play on Friday, Oct. 10 against Minot State with a start time of 7 p.m.
• Following Friday's matchup against Minot State, Augustana will close out the weekend at U-Mary with a start time of 6 p.m.

Series History 
               vs. Minot State
• The Vikings hold the upper-hand against the Beavers with an overall record of 5-0.
• Augustana won in three sets in the 2013 season on the road, and won in four sets at home.
• The Vikings have only lost two sets in conference play against Minot State, losing one set 20-25 in 2013 and once in 1977.

                MSU Moorhead
• No. 16 Augustana hosted MSU Moorhead Friday, Oct. 3 in the Elmen Center.
• The Vikings swept the Dragons in three sets with scores of 25-11, 26-24, and 25-20.
• The Vikings improved to 12-3 (5-2 NSIC) with the victory.
• MSUM dropped to 2-5 in the conference.
• Courtney Ysker dominated at the net leading the Vikings with 19 kills in the three set victory.
• Ysker became the 22nd member to join the 1,000-kill club at Augustana in the victory over MSUM.
• Ysker recorded a season-best .389 (19-5-36) attack percentage.
• Setter Marissa Johnson led the Vikings with 27 assists with the win. 
• Freshman Tahlyr Banks added 17 digs.

                No. 24 Northern State
• Augustana followed the MSU Moorhead matchup hosting No. 24 Northern State on Saturday, Oct. 4 in the Elmen Center.
• NSU beat the Vikings in four sets with scores of 28-26, 19-25, 17-25, and 23-25 in the Top-25 matchup.
• Ysker recorded her eighth double-double of the season tallying 18 kills and 10 digs.
• Bailey Koch followed Ysker's performance with 12 kills, while Wilson added 10.
• Setter's Marissa Johnson and Anna Sykora combined for 55 assists.
• Sydney Hunsley recorded a season-best .412 (8-1-17) attack percentage.

    NSIC Leaders
• Senior Courtney Ysker is fifth in kills per set (3.97/s) 
• Middle Blocker Ashley Wilson is sixth in hitting percentage .363 (176-40-375)
• Becca Finley leads the conference in blockes per set with (1.29/s)
• Freshman defensive specalist Tahlyr Banks is fourth in the conference in digs per set averaging (4.70/s).

Milestone Marker
• Senior outside hitter Courtney Ysker became the 22nd member to join the 1,000-kill club Friday, Oct. 3 aganist MSU Moorhead
• Only 19 kills separated Ysker from joining the "1,000 -Kill Club"
• Ysker tallied all 19 kills against MSU Moorhead becoming the 22nd player to reach milestone.
• Replicating her output of 413 kills in the 2013 season, Ysker will reach 1,189 career kills, placing her four kills behind No. 9 on the kills list, H. Hafemeyer.
• Ysker is averaging 3.97 kills/set in the 2014 season and is currently ranked fifth in the NSIC matches.

Respect from their peers
• In the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Vikings were selected to finish sixth in the 16-team conference.
• Seven-time defending national champion Concordia-St.Paul was the unanimous No. 1 pick.
• All top six teams, including Augustana, are ranked in the AVCA Preseason Top 25 Coaches' Poll.
• The Vikings earned the No. 19 spot in week six of the AVCA Preseason Top 25 Coaches' Poll, their first time being ranked since 2009.
