Ashley looking to provide leadership to youthful squad

• The Sioux Falls, S.D. native brings some serious playmaking abilities to the backcourt after averaging a career-best 4.1 assists last season.
• Ashley is the lone player back who started in every game last year for the Vikings.
• The former Roosevelt High star averaged career-highs in points (18.1), assists (4.1), threes made (40), field goal percentage (48.6 percent), and free throws made (125).
• Ashley also was a first team All-NSIC selection for the first time in her career.
• The senior's leadership will be key to a youthful team that has a combined 11 redshirts and true freshmen on it.
