SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana College (5-5, 2-4 NSIC South) is set to close-out the 2014 season this Saturday, Nov. 15, heading to Marshall, Minn. to take on Southwest Minnesota State (3-7, 2-4 NSIC South). Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Mattke Field at the Schwan Regional Event Center on the SMSU campus as the Vikings will look for their first winning season since 2011.
The Vikings are coming off a 17-7 road loss to Concordia-St. Paul last Saturday. SMSU was able to hold on for a 39-34 win at Winona State last weekend.
Augustana enters Saturday's game with an 8-1 record against Southwest Minnesota State in games played in Marshall, Minn. The Vikings are 15-3 all-time against SMSU and had a 15-game winning streak snapped when the Mustangs defeated Augustana 34-24 in Sioux Falls last season.
