• Augustana split a pair of NSIC road contests last weekend first falling at No. 13 Minnesota State (81-67) before picking up a 65-59 win over Concordia-St. Paul.
• In Friday night's loss, MSU's Zach Monaghan and Assem Marei combined for 54 points, including 29 in the second half to lead the Mavericks past the Vikings.
• Minnesota State hit 11 3-pointers, the most allowed by Augustana this season, including nine in the second half alone.
• After trailing by 10 early in the second half, the Vikings cut the lead to one but MSU quickly heated up from 3-point range to push its lead all the way up to 21 with six minutes to play.
• Daniel Jansen provided his fifth 20-point performance of the season to lead the Vikings with 25 points on 8 of 18 shooting.
• Alex Richter delivered his seventh double-digit point performance of the season finishing with 16 to go along with seven rebounds.
• Casey Schilling pitched in with 12 points, five rebounds and three steals.
• The Vikings used a strong second half and tough defense to limit the Golden Bears to just 59 points on 41 percent shooting from the field.
