Storylines and history
• Augustana takes on the North Division's No. 1 seed in Northern State in a NSIC/Sanford Health Women's Basketball Tournament Quarterfinal matchup.
• The Vikings and the Wolves will play at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.
• The game will tip at 12 p.m.
• This is the 39th meeting between the teams, Augustana leads the series 23-15.
• The Vikings won the first matchup earlier this season behind Riley Nordgaard's 21 points in a 79-62 victory.
Shaunteva Ashley scored 19 points and handed out six assists for Augustana in the win.

Schulte and Ashley put on show in final game at Elmen Center this year
• Augustana kept its season alive on Wednesday, winning 90-79 over MSU Moorhead at the Elmen Center.
Emily Schulte put on quite a swan song in her final home game of her career, scoring 25 points and knocking down a career-high seven 3-pointers in the win.
• Ashley continued her high-scoring ways, finishing with 30 points, her second 30-point game in her last three.
• Ashley's scoring came in several ways, but she continues her ultra-efficient play, going 11 of 16 (68.7 percent) from the field while handing out four assists and recording only two turnovers.
• Schulte's 25 points was her second-highest scoring output this year, just two off her career-high 27 at St. Cloud State on Feb. 1.
• Nordgaard picked up her fourth double-double this season with 11 points and 10 rebounds against the Dragons.
Sophie Kenney provided a nice lift off the bench, scoring a career-high nine points in the victory.
• The Vikings displayed great ball movement and decision making in the win, setting a new season low with only six turnovers.
• Augustana connected on 12 of 31 threes (38.7 percent) in the victory, improving its record to 8-1 this year when they make at least 10 3-pointers in a game.
• The Vikings used some tough defense to limit MSU Moorhead to just one shot, and get the running game going, scoring 22 fastbreak points.

I believe congratulations are in order
• On Feb. 27, the NSIC handed out its postseason awards honoring individuals for their great play.  Ashley and Schulte were recognized for their stellar years this season.
• Schulte was named the NSIC Defensive Player of the Year, becoming the first Augustana women's basketball player to win the award since Sandra Zwach took home NCC Defensive Player of the Year honors in 1997.
• Schulte was also named to the NSIC All-Defensive team and was selected to the All-NSIC second team.
• Ashley was named All-NSIC first team for the first time in her career.
•Ashley continued the trend of at least one Viking being named All-NSIC first team since Augustana joined the NSIC in 2008.
