SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - No. 24 Augustana College softball (36-11, 19-7 NSIC) is set to put an end to the regular season this weekend with a pair of NSIC doubleheaders in North Dakota. This weekend's games have been moved from Saturday and Sunday to Friday and Saturday due to the weather forecast on Sunday. The Vikings will take on Minot State (28-14, 15-9 NSIC) on Friday at South Hill Softball Complex before heading to Bismarck to play the University of Mary (28-18, 13-9 NSIC) on Sunday. First pitch is set for 12 p.m. on both days.
Making history• Junior
Jenelle Trautmann made history in a big way on Friday, April 18, becoming Augustana's all-time leader in home runs.
• Trautmann entered the game needing one to break the school record of 43 career home runs which was set by her former teammate
Theresa McMahon (2010-13).
• Trautmann blasted three home runs against Concordia-St. Paul on Friday afternoon to break the record while also tying a single game record with three home runs in the game.
• Trautmann has hit 47 career home runs and has 11 on the season.
Approaching another milestone• Augustana softball is one win shy of 1,400 in program history.
• In the 42nd season of softball at Augustana, the program owns an overall record of 1,399-587-3.
• In 42 seasons, the Augustana softball program has recorded 34 winning seasons.
National news• Augustana is ranked 24th in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches' Association Top 25 poll.
• The Vikings were ranked 22nd in the NFCA preseason poll.
• The Vikings are 3-4 against ranked opponents this season.
• In the first game of the season, Augustana took down the defending national champion and No. 1 ranked team in Central Oklahoma.

Jenelle Trautmann's RBI single in the top of the seventh inning lifted Augustana to a 6-5 win over Upper Iowa in game one of a doubleheader on Tuesday.

Caitlin Nichol scored the game-winning run in game one after leading off the top of the seventh with a single.
