No. 6 Augustana men's basketball looks to build on 10-game win streak this weekend

The Vikings welcome Winona State and Upper Iowa to the Sioux Falls Arena

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – No. 6 Augustana College men's basketball returns to the Sioux Falls Arena for a pair of NSIC South Division match-ups this weekend. The Vikings (17-1, 11-1 NSIC) open the weekend taking on Winona State (9-7, 6-6 NSIC) at 8 p.m. on Friday night. Augustana will then welcome Upper Iowa University at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
 
Augustana is riding a 10-game win streak heading into this weekend, marking its longest win streak since winning 12 straight from Nov. 20, 1987 to Jan. 16, 1988. Augustana head coach Tom Billeter, in his 12th season on the Viking bench, is one win away from 200 at Augustana. Billeter owns a record of 199-139 in his 12 seasons at Augustana and is inching closer to his 300th career victory. He is 296-189 all-time as a collegiate head coach.
