SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – No. 5 Augustana College men's basketball is set for a two-game road swing to North Dakota where the Vikings will take on the University of Mary (6-12, 4-10 NSIC) and Minot State University (10-10, 5-9 NSIC). The Vikings (19-1, 13-1 NSIC) open the road trip with U-Mary at 8 p.m. on Friday in Bismarck before taking on Minot State at 6 p.m. on Saturday at the MSU Dome.
Augustana enters the weekend on a 12-game win streak, marking its longest win streak since winning 12 straight from Nov. 20, 1987 to Jan. 16, 1988. Head coach
Tom Billeter picked up his 200th win as Augustana's head coach last weekend and is now just two wins shy of 300 for his career. Billeter enters the weekend with a record of 298-189 in 17 seasons as a collegiate head coach. With two more wins, Billeter would become one of just 50 active coaches with 300 or more victories.
