SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Augustana Volleyball (7-1) will open Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play Thursday as they host the second ranked Mustangs of Southwest Minnesota State (7-1) and make the cross town trip to the University of Sioux Falls (8-1) Saturday.

The Vikings are coming off a perfect Augustana Showcase that saw them upset the No. 8 Lakers of Grand Valley State. Augustana will look to build upon the momentum gained from last weekend.

Augustana made their American Volleyball Coaches Association Top-25 debut this week, coming in at No. 25. It is the 193rd week in program history that the Vikings have been ranked in the poll. Augustana's 193 weeks ranked is currently the 13th most in all of Division II and the second most of any NSIC school, trailing only Minnesota Duluth.

Augustana and Southwest Minnesota State will play at 7 p.m. Thursday while the match against Sioux Falls will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
