No. 21 Augustana opens three-game road swing in North Dakota this weekend

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – No. 21/10 Augustana University men's basketball will play its next three games on the road, starting with a pair of games in North Dakota this Friday and Saturday. The Vikings (7-1, 3-0 NSIC) will open the three-game trip on Friday, Dec. 9 taking on Minot State (4-5, 0-3 NSIC) at 8 p.m. Augustana will then head to Bismarck to take on the University of Mary (3-5, 2-1 NSIC) at 6 p.m. on Saturday.

NSIC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
• Senior guard Adam Beyer was named the NSIC South Division Player of the Week on Monday
• Beyer put up back-to-back 20-point performances last weekend
• Beyer started the weekend matching his career-high with 24 points to go along with four rebounds in the win over Concordia-St. Paul
• He scored 21 of his 24 points against the Golden Bears in the second half
• Beyer then delivered a 22-point, six-rebound performance in Saturday's win over Minnesota State
• Beyer finished the weekend shooting 73.9 percent (17 of 23) from the field, including 5 of 6 from 3-point range
• He was 7 of 8 from the free throw line and grabbed seven of his 10 rebounds on the defensive glass
• Beyer is the second Viking to earn NSIC Player of the Week honors this season
Jordan Spencer earned player of the week honors from the NSIC last week
• This marks the first NSIC Player of the Week honor in Beyer's career

• Augustana head coach Tom Billeter earned his 350th career game in Friday's win over CSP
• Augustana then turned around and earned an 83-81 win over Minnesota State on Saturday

• On Saturday, Augustana led by eight with 32 seconds to play before holding off MSU for the 83-81 win
• The win gave Augustana its 37th straight home victory

Zach Huisken had a big day for the Vikings as well scoring 12 points and hauling in a career-high nine rebounds
