SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The first homestand of the season in the books, the Augustana men hit the road for their first true road game of the season, when the Vikings travel to Wayne State on Monday night for both team's NSIC opener.

Augustana, which opened season with a pair of neutral site wins at the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic, split its first two home games; defeating Peru State 97-94 in overtime last Tuesday, before falling to a hot-shooting Graceland squad, 93-81 on Thursday.

Both Jordan Spencer and Adam Dykman posted double-doubles in the win over the Bobcats; Spencer with 21 points and 10 assists, and Dykman with 25 points and 12 rebounds, both of which set new career-high marks. The Vikings also got 17 points from John Warren and 15 from Steven Schaefer in the overtime win, which extended Augustana's streak to 20 straight home-opening wins.

Spencer followed-up is big night against Peru State with a 33-point outburst against Graceland, and he got 20 points of help from Marcus Asmus and 10 from Dykman, but the Yellowjackets came out red hot from beyond the arc, hitting 11 of 19 from deep in the first half and 7 of 11 in the second half. Augustana hit 12 triples in the game, and cut the lead to two points late, but a couple of timely Graceland 3-pointers sealed the win.
