SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana University men's basketball begins postseason play on Wednesday night hosting a first round game in the NSIC/Sanford Health Tournament. The Vikings earned the No. 3 seed in the South Division and will host North Division No. 6 seed Bemidji State Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 8 p.m. at the Sanford Pentagon.
Augustana finished the regular season with a record of 21-7, including 16-6 in conference play. Bemidji State enters the tournament with a record of 10-17. The Beavers finished the season 8-14 in conference play to earn the sixth seed in the North Division.
NSIC TOURNAMENT HISTORY
• Augustana is the two-time defending NSIC Tournament Champions
• The Vikings won their first ever postseason tournament in 2014-15 before repeating as NSIC Tournament Champions last season
