CLERMONT, Fla. – Augustana University softball concluded its spring trip on Wednesday picking up three wins to improve to 10-6 on the year. Augustana opened the day with a 5-1 win over Saint Thomas Aquinas before picking up a 5-1 victory over Bloomsburg.
After having two games rained out on Monday, Augustana added a third game to its schedule this afternoon, and the Vikings earned a 10-0 win in six innings over Philadelphia University.

In the Bloomsburg game, Augustana took a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the third thanks to a three-run home run by
Sarah Kennedy. The Vikings added two more runs in the bottom of the sixth to extend their lead to 5-1.
Augustana will have a short turnaround upon returning home. The Vikings will travel to St. Joseph, Missouri for six games at the Missouri Western State Hy-Vee Classic. Augustana will play two games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, starting with Central Oklahoma at 12 p.m. Friday, March 17.
