SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- They trailed by as many as 15 points, clawed back to force overtime, but the 5th-ranked Augustana women's basketball team ultimately suffered their first loss on their home floor, 64-59 to Sioux Falls Friday night at the Sioux Falls Arena.
The loss snaps an 11 game win streak at home and drops the Vikings to 21-2 overall and 17-2 in the NSIC.
Augustana trailed 33-21 at the break, their largest halftime deficit of the season and fewest first-half points in 2017-18.
Down 42-28 with 3:35 to play in the third quarter, the Vikings rattled off a 13-0 run and trailed just 42-40 early in the fourth quarter.
Shelby Selland sunk two free throws to start the run and a
Presley O'Farrell layup pulled Augie within two. Selland, a junior center from Letcher, S.D. finished with 18 points, one shy of her career high.

Tied at 54 heading into overtime, the Cougars went on a 6-0 run and ultimately pulled away.
Sioux Falls improves to 14-9 overall and 11-8 in league play.
The Cougars out-rebounded Augustana 56-37 and the Vikings shot just 27 percent from the field.
Presley O'Farrell finished the game with 12 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Selland added 9 rebounds.
The Vikings return to action Saturday, Feb. 10 when they host Southwest Minnesota State inside the Sioux Falls Arena at 4 p.m.. Augustana will honor its five seniors, plus student assistant
Erin Benson prior to the contest.
