SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - As Friday quickly approaches with the first game at the new home of Augustana basketball, the Sanford Pentagon, here is some important information for fans regarding Friday's game and games throughout this basketball season.
 
Friday's Exhibition vs. Concordia College
Friday night's game will tip off at 7 p.m. and has been designated as a game "Honoring Sanford Health & a Legacy of Leadership".  In addition to recognition around that event, the 2019 NSIC Champion Augustana baseball team will be recognized at halftime. Air Force and Afghanistan War Veteran Mark J. Lindquist will be performing the national anthem.
 
General game day info
The Sanford Pentagon Box Office and parking lots will open 90 minutes prior to tip-off and the doors into Heritage Court will open 60 minutes prior to tip-off. All Will Call and pass lists will be available at the Sanford Pentagon Box Office.  Augustana students, retirees, faculty/staff, and their dependents can visit the Augustana table in the main lobby to receive their tickets.
 
Season ticket holder ticket pickup
Fans who have purchased season tickets and have not yet picked them up may do so prior to Friday's game, starting at 6 p.m.  Friday's game is a ticketed event.  For those A-Club members who receive parking at the Sanford Pentagon with their tickets, they are encouraged to pick up their tickets before Friday in the Elmen Center athletic offices or at Thursday night's Volleyball game vs. Wayne State (6 p.m. in the Elmen Center).
 
Keep your ticket with you:
During games at the Sanford Pentagon, we ask that all fans keep their tickets with them at all times. When fans leave their seats to visit the concession stands, use the restroom, etc., they will need their ticket to re-enter Heritage Court seating. The Sanford Pentagon may have other events going on, including the side courts, during Augustana games and tickets will be checked to ensure only those with Augustana Basketball tickets are allowed in Heritage Court.
 
Bag Inspection Policy
Bag inspections will be conducted at the Sanford Pentagon. We ask all fans to have their bags open and ready for inspection by Event Staff or Campus Safety if asked.
 
The Sanford Pentagon is required to prohibit items such as bags, backpacks and briefcases larger than 14" x 14" x 6'' from being brought into the Pentagon.  Hard-sided bags of any kind are also prohibited.  Patrons who are in possession of items larger than this bag size will be asked to return them to their vehicles or discard them. This is in addition to the existing policy that all bags, purses or personal items of any size are subject to search.
 
Prohibited Items
Please note some of the prohibited items not allowed inside the Sanford Pentagon:

• Large banners and flags
• Clothing, garments, or signs displaying explicit language, profanity or derogatory characterization
• Outside food and beverage, alcohol, coolers, flasks, glass bottles
• Animals (service animals permitted)
• Artificial noise makers
• Camera attachments (selfie sticks, tripods, monopods)
• Tobacco products, drugs or illegal substances, electronic cigarettes, cigars, and vaporizers
• Weapons or explosives of any kind

 
VIP Entrance
The VIP Entrance on the southeast corner of the Sanford Pentagon is to be used by players, coaches, A-Club Members at the Champions Level ($5,000+), and suite owners only. We ask that all other fans use the main entrance.
 
Sanford Pentagon Game Day Parking
 
A-Club Member Lot – (Yellow Pass – Season) (White Pass – Single Game)
Each Augustana A-Club member at the Blue and Gold levels receives a basketball parking pass. This pass allows you to park in the A-Club Lot, the west lot at the Sanford Pentagon (see map below). All spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please enter the lot from the south entrance and show your pass to the attendant. Then use the main entrance to the Sanford Pentagon.
 
VIP Lot (Blue Pass)
Augustana A-Club members at the Champions Club and suite holders must show their parking pass to access the VIP Lot on the east side of the building.
 
General Parking
Free, general parking is available at the Sanford Pentagon for all fans. All highlighted lots in Yellow are free parking (see map below). To avoid traffic, we ask that you enter the lots at the entrance south of the Sanford Fieldhouse from Bobhalla Drive.  Fans should not park in the hotel, hockey or tennis parking lots.
