OZARK, MO. -- The No. 2 Augustana baseball team fell to Drury 7-2 on Saturday in the series finale of a three-game set against the Panthers. Drury scored all seven of their runs in the first three innings of the game.
After the third inning, the Vikings held the Panthers scoreless with
Ryan Helgeson and
Thomas Bruss going a combined five innings without allowing a run.Â
Sam Baier recorded two hits, an RBI, and a stolen base, putting up the only multi-hit game for the Vikings.
Seth Miller reached base on three of his four plate appearances, recording a double and two walks.Â
The Vikings return to action next Thursday when they will take on Ashland in the first game of their Spring trip to Florida.
