SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Augustana women's golf team will travel to Morton, Minn. to compete in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Golf Championships which begins on Friday and will finish up on Sunday.
The NSIC Championships will be played at the Dacotah Ridge Golf Club in Morton, Minn. The 7,109 yard, par-72 course features natural wetlands, the winding beauty of Wabasha Creek and a 14-acre lake. Live stats will be available this weekend and can be found here.
The probable lineup for this weekend is

Alex Stone,
McKayla Poppens,
Kait Asklund and
Annemarie Fisher.
The Vikings won the conference title last year with a three-round score of +926, 62-over-par (321-299-306) securing its ninth straight NSIC Championship. Emily Israelson (Augustana) won the individual title with a score of +12 (228). Augustana had four place in the top-10 individually.
Last time out the Vikings competed in the West Texas A&M Desert Invite on April 9. As a team, the Vikings placed 13th with a two-round score +61, 637. Hankinson led the team and tied for 34th place in a field of 87 total golfers after she turned in a two-round score of 156. She finished at +12 (80, 76).
Natalie Young tied for 43rd place after turning in a 77 on the first day and 82 on the final day to finish with a score of +15 (159).
Stone moved up seven spots in the player standings to tie for 49th place. She fired off a round of 82 and 78 to total +16, 160 during the invite.
McKayla Poppens finished tied for 58th with a two-round score of 162 for +18 (79, 83).
Sydney Weber trimmed six strokes off her score from round one and placed 81st with +30, 174 (90, 84).
Earlier this year, Augustana was picked to finish first at the NSIC Championships receiving all 11 first-place votes and tallied 121 points to rank ahead of Minnesota State, which tallied 111 points and the other first-place vote. Junior Hankinson was also voted by the league coaches as the NSIC Preseason Women's Golfer of the Year.
