SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana Athletics held its annual auction on Friday, March 29th, in the Hall Sports Forum in the Elmen Center. The 2019 Augustana Athletic Auction raised just over $119,000, the Augustana A-Club announced Monday.
 
"The auction impacts all of our student-athletes and our 19 programs," director of athletics Josh Morton said. "We are truly thankful for the outstanding support from our donors and friends.  That support translates into resources for our student-athletes, who prove every day they are champions in the classroom, competition and in the community."
 
More than 500 people attended the event, with over 200 silent and live auction items up for bid.
 
The next event for the Augustana A-Club is the annual Augustana/Sam Milanovich Golf Tournament, which will take place on Friday, June 7, 2019 at Willow Run Golf Course in Sioux Falls.
 
Proceeds from The Sammy support the Sam Milanovich Endowed Scholarships, which are awarded to student-athletes at Augustana.
