SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Student-athletes from four of the Viking athletics programs became the first 2019 graduates from Augustana University, as track & field, baseball, and softball seniors participated in a special ceremony on Monday at the Chapel of Reconciliation.



Augustana commencement is on Saturday, May 25, but all three programs will be around the country competing for championships.  The university arranged a special ceremony for the following ten graduates:

Samantha Eisenreich, Softball
Maggie Kadrlik, Softball
Shannon Petersen, Softball 
Josh Barrows, Track & Field
Mackenzie Kelly, Track & Field
Nathan Schroeder, Track & Field
Derek Dahlke, Baseball
Michael Svozil, Baseball
Lucas Wylie, Baseball

The Track and Field teams compete in the NCA DII Outdoor National Championship May 23-25 in Kingsville, Texas. Softball is currently in Denver, Colorado in the NCAA DII Softball Championships, and baseball competes for a DII Central Region title this weekend.
