SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana men's basketball travels to Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State for a pair of NSIC basketball games in NSIC cross-division action.

The Games
Augustana faces the Bulldogs of Minnesota Duluth on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and the Huskies of St. Cloud State on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Both contests are the only scheduled meetings between the programs in 2019-20.

The Bulldogs
The Bulldogs, holding a 16-6 overall record, were atop the NSIC standings until getting swept last weekend at Winona State and Upper Iowa. Minnesota Duluth fell 85-57 to the Warriors and 84-79 to the Peacocks. Preseason NSIC North Player of the Year Brandon Myer leads the Bulldogs with 20.5 points per game, a mark that ranks fourth in the NSIC. He also tallies 9.0 rebounds per contest. UMD also gets strong offensive production from Drew Blair at 16.4 points per game.

The Huskies
St. Cloud State owns a 12-10 overall record, and sits similarly at two games above .500 with a 9-7 NSIC mark. The Huskies snapped a short three-game skid with a weekend sweep last weekend, topping UIU 79-62 and WSU 90-83. Trevon Marshall is St. Cloud's leading scorer at 21.1 points per outing, ranking second in the NSIC, while Anthony Roberts leads SCSU with 6.1 rebounds per game.

The Vikings
Augustana picked up a 76-68 win over UMary on Saturday to improve to 13-9 overall and 8-8 in the NSIC. The previous night, the Vikings fell by a slim margin, 82-80, to Minot State. Sophomore
Matt Todd, making a case for the NSIC Newcomer of the Year, averaged 15.5 points over the two contests while fellow sophomore
Dylan LeBrun had a 13-point per game average.

Tyler Riemersma is the only NSIC player to average a double-double on the season as he tallies 13 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. In NSIC only games, those numbers increase to 14.5 points and 11.2 rebounds per outing.

Riemersma had himself a historic evening rebounding in the Vikings' win over UMary. The junior corralled 23 missed shots, 13 defensive and 10 offensive, the second-most in school history. The school record of 27 rebounds was set in 1969 while. The last time a player in the NSIC grabbed that many? 2013-14.
