SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – After spending the past two weekends on its home floor, the Augustana men's basketball team returns to the road to face Upper Iowa on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, the squads tip-off at 6 p.m. while Saturday's game has a 2 p.m. start.

About the Vikings
Augustana is coming off a weekend split with Winona State and has won three of its last four games. The Vikings fell by five points this past Saturday but turned around on Sunday for a 73-63 victory.
In the win,
Dylan LeBrun had his strongest game of the season with 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting while making four shots from downtown. He jump started the Vikings offense by scoring 10 of the first 12 points while
Isaac Fink tallied 17 points. Fink had a little run of his own in the second half, scoring 11-straight points during an 11-0 Viking run.
Augustana paces six, yes SIX, players in double digit scoring led by
Michael Schaefer at 13.1 points per outing. He is the team's leading scorer but has come off the bench in all eight games. Also in double figure scoring are
Isaac Fink (12.4),
Adam Dykman (11.5),
Tyler Riemersma (11.5), LeBrun (10.8) and
Matt Todd (10.5). Riemersma is the team's top rebounder at 8.4 boards per outing.
About the Peacocks
Upper Iowa enters the weekend holding a 3-5 overall record and a 1-3 mark in NSIC action. Two of the three wins have come on its home floor with victories over St. Cloud State to open the season.
The Peacocks snapped a five-game skid this past weekend winning Saturday's contest at Wayne State 82-74, earning a split weekend. In the win, Joe Smoldt went off for 29 points, easily a game high.
Four Peacocks average double-figure points led by Smoldt at 16.6 points per game. 27 of his 44 made field goals have come from beyond the 3-point line. Smoldt is joined in double figures by Lucas Duax (15.8), Jareese Williams (14.9) and Jake Hilmer (13.8). Williams, who has also made the majority of his shots from deep, is the team's leading rebounder at 5.5 per outing.
