Concordia-St. Paul is 15-3 on the season and holds a 9-0 record within the NSIC. Most recently, the No. 7 ranked Golden Bears claimed victories in the Gangelhoff Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, sweeping Bemidji State (3-0) Friday and Minnesota Crookston (3-0) Saturday.

About the Vikings

Augustana is riding a six-game win streak dating back to Sept. 24. The Vikings have had four wins at home and two wins on the road during that time. Five of those matches have been won in 3-0 fashion.

Most recently, the Vikings defeated two conference foes inside the Elmen Center in MSU Moorhead (3-0) and Northern State (3-2) to remain undefeated in Sioux Falls this year.

The performance of junior Maddy Guetter played a huge role in the victories on the weekend as Guetter set a new school record for most kills in a single match in the win against Northern State, accumulating 34 kills while also holding an impressive .459 hitting percentage.

The Wabasso, Minnesota, native's performance over the weekend gained national recognition, as Guetter was named the AVCA Women's DII National Player of the Week, the first honor for a Viking since Holly Hafemeyer back on Nov. 12, 2013.

The Vikings are led by Guetter with 3.61 kills per set, Avery Thorson with 9.84 assists per set and Erika Bute averaging 4.68 digs per set.
