Game 1: No. 3 Augustana 13, St. Mary's (TX) 4
It was the
Kendall Cornick show as she set the school record with seven RBI in a single game. She got the scoring underway in the opening frame with a solo shot off the scoreboard in left-center field.
In the second inning, Cornick had a bases-clearing double, scoring three runs, to give AU the 4-1 lead.
With the same score in the fourth, it was again Cornick with a double, this time down the right-field line which scored

At this point, the skies opened and a rain delay ensued for nearly three and a half hours.
After play resumed in the fourth inning, the Vikings picked right back up where they left off as

Mary Pardo. A couple of batters later,
Abby Lien singled scoring Mickschl to give the Vikings a commanding 8-1 lead.
The Rattlers got three runs back, all unearned, in the bottom of the fourth.
However, the fifth inning was all Augustana with five runs scored in the frame.
