MORTON, Minn. -- The Augustana women's golf team surrendered no strokes on day three of the NSIC Championships and captured its 10th NSIC Championship in the last 11 seasons Sunday afternoon at the Dacotah Ridge Golf Club in Morton, Minnesota.

Freshman Lauren Tims and seniors Natalie Young and Alex Stone also took home NSIC All-Tournament Team honors after finishing in the top-five.

"It was a brutal few days of golf," head coach Coralee Jorgensen said. "Our team showed complete mental grit to persevere to victory.

"As stated earlier, we started the week with the word 'hope'. That helped us during the snow, sleet and windy conditions. We are completely overjoyed with this blessing."

The Vikings were led by Tims and Young who each finished in a tie for third-place at the tournament with three-round scores of 237. The duo earned NSIC All-Tournament Team honors for the first time in their respective careers.

Senior Alex Stone earned All-Tournament Team honors for the second time in her career with a three-round score of 240, tying her for fifth-place at the tournament.

Sophomore Molly Stevens finished just one stroke behind Stone with a three-round score of 241, earning her a top-ten finish with eighth place.

Junior Hanna Morin rounded out the scoring for the Vikings with a three-round score of 255 and 27th place.
