Augustana Women’s Golf Set For NCAA Super Regional

5/2/2021 4:01:00 PM

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The NSIC Champion Augustana women's golf team is on to the next challenge: the NCAA Super Regional Tournament in St. Joseph, Missouri, at the St. Joseph Country Club.

"The team has worked hard on their short game this week and they are, again, anxious to play at the St. Joseph Country Club," head coach Coralee Jorgensen said. "The course is hilly, tree-lined and will play long.

"Unique to golf courses, St. Joseph has six long and hard par three's. They are a key ingredient to a low score. We look forward to the challenge."

The Event
Missouri Western State University is set to host the regional tournament Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the aforementioned St. Joseph Country Club. Full course details can be found here. The tournament consists of three rounds of golf with 18 holes being played each day, starting at 8:30 a.m.

The field consists of 49 total players: five golfers from the nine qualifying institutions and four individual qualifiers. The full list of participants can be found here. Live scoring for the event will also be available and can be found on GoAugie.com/Live
