SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana men's basketball student-athlete Tyler Riemersma has been voted to the CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District 7 for the second-straight year. The Bloomington, Minnesota, native owns a 3.90 GPA while majoring in Data Science at AU.
 
Riemersma, a 2020 Academic All-America selection, led Augustana with 13.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game in 2021. His 10.3 rebounds per game average led the NSIC and ranked 14^th in the nation. He also ranked second in the NSIC with 3.4 offensive rebounds per game.
 
The Second Team All-NSIC South Division selection was a two-time NSIC Player of the week. He secured an NSIC-high of 22 rebounds against Wayne State and dished a career-best eight assists in the Vikings' win over Sioux Falls on Feb. 12. In all, he totaled eight double-doubles, a mark that ranked second in the NSIC.
 
First Team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Ballot where All-America honorees will be announced in late May.
