SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana Director of Athletics Josh Morton has announced the addition of Sioux Falls native, Lyn Metzger, to the athletics department as the Assistant Director of Athletics Annual Giving & Ticketing.  
 
Metzger, who garnered a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Studies from Iowa and a Master of Arts in Sport Management from South Dakota, joins Augustana after serving as the Ticket Operations Coordinator for the Chicago Fire of the MLS.
 
While with the Fire, Metzger worked with SeatGeek and Ticketmaster ticketing systems and supervised a staff of 12 on match days. She also performed renewal campaigns with season ticket holders and coordinated with corporate sponsors.
 
In 2018, Metzger graduated from USD after serving two years as the Ticket Office Graduate Assistant. She helped facilitate box office purchases and managed workers on gamedays.
 
Metzger also has experience as the Hall of Fame/Trademark Licensing Intern and Athletic Communications Student Contact while at the University of Iowa.
 
In addition, Metzger has volunteer experience with the Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament and the Chicago Fire Juniors Soccer Invitational.
 
Metzger begins her duties at Augustana on Monday.
