SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- After starting its season playing 11-straight matches on the road, the Augustana volleyball team is set to host two NSIC matches inside the Elmen Center on Friday and Saturday.
The Vikings will face Bemidji State on Friday night at 6 p.m. and Minnesota Crookston at 2 p.m. Saturday.
After Friday's match, the Vikings will be signing postgame autographs.

About the Beavers
Bemidji State is 0-11 on the season and 0-3 in conference play. Most recently, the Beavers dropped a contest against No. 20 St. Cloud State, losing (3-1) on Tuesday night in Bemidji, Minnesota.
Bemidji State is led by Anna Averkamp with 2.76 kills per set, Emily Wade averaging 7.47 assists per set and Madison Weyker garnering 3.87 digs per set.
About the Golden Eagles
Since opening conference play, Minnesota Crookston is on a three-game losing streak. The Golden Eagles are 1-7 on the season and 0-3 in the NSIC.
Most recently, Minnesota Crookston lost to No. 19 Minnesota Duluth 3-0 at Duluth, Minnesota on Tuesday night.
The Golden Eagles are led by Lauren Wallace with 2.59 kills per set, Natalie Koke with 6.93 assists per set and Whaley Layne garnering 2.50 digs per set.
About the Vikings
Augustana is currently 6-5 on the season and 1-2 within the conference. The Vikings most recently fell to No. 5 SMSU (3-0) on Tuesday night.
Prior to SMSU, the Vikings took No. 23 St. Cloud State to five sets and defeated No. 16 Minnesota Dultuh 3-1.
The Vikings are led by Maddy Guetter with 3.47 kills per set, Avery Thorson with 10.07 assists per set and Erika Bute with 5.00 digs per set.
One Last Thing
The Vikings have proven that it is hard to score against them. As a team, Augustana is second in the conference, and 13th in the nation in blocks per set at 2.47.
Sophomore Callie Hohehnaus has had a big hand in the Viking's defensive success, as she is second in the conference in total blocks, accounting for 48 on the season, also good for 19th in the nation.
