SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – For the third-straight year,
Tyler Riemersma has earned the distinction of CoSIDA Academic All-District for District 7. Riemersma, a two-time Academic All-America selection, now goes to the national ballot for Academic All-America consideration for 2021-22.

The native of Bloomington, Minnesota, owns a 4.0 GPA in his master's degree program for sport administration leadership. He graduated with his undergraduate degree in data science with a 3.94 GPA.

Riemersma leads the Augustana men's basketball program with a double-double average of 18.2 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. He has won five NSIC South Division Player of the Week honors and was recently named to the Top-50 list for the 2022 Bevo Francis Award given to the Small College Basketball Player of the Year.

Augustana, ranked No. 5 in the nation from the NABC and No. 1 in the Central Region, looks to win an NSIC Championship Thursday night with a 7:30 p.m. tipoff at Sioux Falls. The Vikings then close out the regular season Saturday against Southwest Minnesota State inside the Sanford Pentagon with a 5:30 p.m. start.
