HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – The Augustana women's golf team continued action at the NCAA Division II Central Regional Tuesday, holding ninth place showing after two rounds. The event is taking place at Hot Springs Country Club in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and is hosted by Henderson State.
Masy Mock saw the best day on the course for the Vikings as she shot an 81 and is tied for 41
st.
Molly Stevens holds the highest placing on the team as she fired an 83 in the second round, placed in a tie for 29
th.
Also shooting an 83 Tuesday was
Lauren Tims and her tie for 44
th. The scoring closed with
Natalie Young in a tie for 46
th after an 83 and
Shannon McCormick who is tied for 50
th with an 84.
Augustana recorded 330 shots Tuesday and has fired 648 over the two rounds. Henderson State leads the field with 589 shots while Gracen Blount of HSU is the individual leader at 141 strokes.
The third and final round gets underway on Wednesday with tee times beginning at 8 a.m.
