SIOUX FALLS, S.D– Augustana soccer fell to Washburn 2-0 on Friday at Morstad Field. The Vikings drop to 0-1-1 on the season and Washburn improves to 3-0. 

The Vikings totaled six shots on target and 11 total shots.

CHANCE (AU)  3'- Josie Arduser rocked the first shot of the game early, but the Ichabod goalkeeper was able to make a low save and hold the Vikings from a scoring opportunity.

GOAL (WU) 2' - Washburn scored the first goal of the game with a low shot from Riley Wells. The goal was unassisted.

CHANCE (AU) 23' - Arduser took her second shot of the game, sending the ball low towards the net but Washburn's goalkeeper slid forward to make the save and keep the Vikings scoreless.

PENALTY (WU) 55' - In the second half, Washburn's Carlee Thompon earned a yellow card on Augustana's half of the field. The Vikings earned a free kick but were unable to capitalize.

CHANCE (AU) 75' - Freshman Ally Hamski sent a solid shot to the net, forcing the goalkeeper to make a leaping save in the center of the goal.

GOAL (WU) 77' - Washburn's Jaedyn Johnson scored her third goal of the season (unassisted) to push the Ichabod's lead over the Vikings and secure a win.
