SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana men's basketball team is on the hardwood of the Elmen Center on Friday and Saturday. The Viking men will play the first game of the doubleheader for the remainder of the season and will host Minnesota Crookston Friday at 5:30 p.m. On Saturday, Augustana plays host to Bemidji State at 3:30 p.m. For Friday's game, fans are encouraged to wear their favorite white Augustana gear in a White Out.

About the Golden Eagles
Minnesota Crookston comes to Sioux Falls with a 1-17 overall record and is 0-12 in the NSIC. The season's lone win was a four-point victory over Presentation College in November. Last weekend, the Golden Eagles fell 71-66 to Minnesota State and 84-68 to Concordia-St. Paul.
Blaize Sagna leads a tri of Golden Eagles in double-figure scoring at 16.3 points per game. That figure bumps to 18.2 points per game during NSIC action, ranking eighth in the conference. The other two double-figure scorers for UMC are Xzavier Jones and Dezmond Washington at 12.6 and 10.0 points per game, respectively.
About the Beavers
Bemidji State enters the weekend holding a 12-6 overall record and is 7-5 in the NSIC. The Beavers have won seven of their last eight games including a sweep last weekend with wins over Concordia-St. Paul (88-71) and Minnesota State (79-69). John Sutherland was awarded the league's player of the week after he averaged 21 points while shooting 59.3 percent from the field in the victories.
Sutherland is the Beavers' leading scorer at 19.4 points per game while securing a team-best 8.8 rebounds per game. He is joined in double-figure scoring by Dalton Albrecht and his 14.9 points per game and Mohamed Kone and his 13.5 points per game.
