LARCHWOOD, Iowa – The Augustana women's golf team claimed its third team title of the fall as it won the USF Invite by 14 shots. In addition, the Vikings were very consistent with three of the point scorers all finishing in a tie for third place.

How It Happened
- Lanie Veenendall and Lauren Tims each shot an even-par 72 in the final round while Molly Stevens joined the duo as part of the tied for third place grouping.
- Veenendall fired an opening round 75 for her 147 strokes while Stevens went 73-74 for her 147 shots. Tims fired an identical 75-72 to Veenendall for her shot total.
- Shannon McCormick placed in a tie for 14th with 152 shots while Masy Mock placed in a tie for 17th with 155 shots.
- Augustana also had four individuals in the tournament led by Rachel Schwarz as she tied for 17th with 155 shots.
- Augustana has now played in two straight tournaments while firing less than 600 shots, following up the Mustan Invite last weekend with 589 shots.

Augustana closes the 2023-24 fall season with a trip to Warrensburg, Missouri, for the Midwest Classic hosted by Central Missouri. The event is set for Oct. 16-17.
