BEMIDJI, Minn. – Augustana soccer dropped a close match to NSIC foe Bemidji State Friday night by a score of 1-0.
Paige Bracker recorded a team-high two shots on goal in an effort to generate Augustana's offensive momentum.
Bemidji opened up the match in the 19th minute of play after a scramble in front of the net.
Grace Douglas continued her offensive momentum from last week into Friday's match as she scored the game-tying goal in the final 10 minutes of play.

Hope Korte recorded the first shot on goal as she fired in a low shot to the bottom center of the net but was stopped by BSU goalie Edie Frantzen.
GOAL (BSU) 19' - The Beavers netted the first of the match off a scramble in front of the net, Bemidji forward Lauren Hodny slotted in a shot to the top of the box from four feet away.
SHOT (BSU) 47' - Katrina Barthelt came out strong to start the second half for the Beavers as she fired in a shot in the early minutes of play.
Jillian Barkus stood tall throughout the BSU scoring chance as she made the big save to keep things 1-0.

Audrey Parnell looked to make things square with a shot to the bottom right of the net but her chance was squandered by Frantzen.

Brandon Barkus changed the momentum on the field with a six-player substitution as AU fought to tie things up.

Grace Douglas, Augustana tied things up to make the game 1-1 with 10 minutes left to play.
