SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana head men's basketball coach
Tom Billeter has announced the signing of Justin Mack on National Signing Day.
"We are extremely excited to add Justin to our team," Billeter said. "He is a complete player who comes from an excellent high school program. Justin was an outstanding track athlete and really didn't start playing basketball seriously until his junior high years.
"He has a very-high ceiling and we know he will work extremely hard to become the best player possible. He will be a great player for us."
Mack, a 6-1 guard from Sugarland, Texas, is coming off a junior season that saw him serve as team captain while averaging 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists per game. Prepping at Fort Bend Travis High School, Mack earned First Team All-District accolades in 2023 and second team honors in 2022.
On the AAU circuit, Mack competed for Team Temple based in Cypress, Texas.
Mack will begin classes at Augustana in the 2024-25 academic year. He plans to earn his degree in business marketing.
