KEARNEY, Neb. – The Augustana men's tennis team saw fight but ultimately fell in a pair of matches over the weekend. The Vikings fell 6-1 to Midwestern State and 7-0 to MSU Denver in Kearney, Nebraska.

"The guys really competed well," Augustana assistant coach Jared Hofer said. "MSU Denver is a tough opponent who was one spot away from making the NCAA Tournament last year. For not having any competition since the fall, the team looked pretty solid even with the injuries we faced.
 
"We have some things to focus on in practice this week and we look forward to getting an opportunity to tally a match in the win column next weekend."
