CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa–Augustana sophomore Jaxson Rohman earned All-American honors after going 2-0 on the first day of the NCAA DII National Championships. Rohman will wrestle for a placement on Saturday while three Vikings saw their seasons come to a close.

Jaxson Rohman - 125 pounds
Rohman defeated Gannon's Jose Diaz in his first match of the day by 8-3 decision to head into the quarter finals. The sophomore became a 2023 DII All-American after besting Shane Corrigan of Parkside in a 6-4 decision. This is Rohman's second trip to the national tournament and his first time earning All-American honors. 

Hunter Burnett - 141 pounds
Burnett fell to Jake Niffenegger of Mercyhurst in his first match of the tournament to head to the consolation bracket. He was defeated in a close match by Cayden Henschel to bring his season to a close.

Kolby Kost - 174 pounds
In his first match, the senior claimed a 12-1 major decision win over Cole Casilio of Gannon. Kost fell in the quarter final match to St. Cloud State's Abner Romero. In his final match, Kost was defeated by Max Bruss of UMary.

Cade Mueller -184 pounds
Mueller began his day at nationals with a 3-2 loss against Alex Kauffman of Central Oklahoma. He finished his season falling to Brock Biddle of Pitt-Johnstown in a 15-4 major decision bout.
